The subclavian vein passes anterior to the Anterior Scalene

Joins Subclavian A and Inf trunk of the Brachial plexus in the thoracic outlet after they pass through the anterior and middle scalenes¹

• The Subclavian vein cannot be entrapped int he interscalene triangle, since it passes anterior to the anterior scalene
